術前・術後の一般的なアドバイス（英語表現）

医療英語を3年計画でマスターするために、勉強をスタートしました。

本日は術前・術後の一般的なアドバイス（英語表現）についてです。

General Advice:
- Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
- Ask your doctor any questions you may have.
- Make sure you understand the procedure and the risks involved.
- Arrange for someone to drive you home after surgery.
- Do not eat or drink anything after midnight before surgery.
Physical Preparation:
- Get plenty of rest before surgery.
- Eat a healthy diet.
- Stop smoking and drinking alcohol.
- Take a shower using an antibacterial soap.
Emotional Preparation:
- Talk to your doctor or a counselor about your concerns.
- Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or meditation.

General Advice:
- Follow your doctor's post-operative instructions carefully.
- Take your medications as prescribed.
- Report any signs of infection, such as fever, redness, or swelling.
- Avoid strenuous activity until your doctor says it is okay.
Pain Management:
- Take pain medication as prescribed.
- Use ice packs to reduce swelling.
- Change your position frequently.
Wound Care:
- Keep your incision clean and dry.
- Change your dressing as instructed.

You should follow your doctor's pre-operative instructions carefully. (手術前の指示を注意深く守ってください。)
It is important to get plenty of rest after surgery. (手術後は十分な休息をとることが大切です。)
You may experience some pain after surgery, but you should take your pain medication as prescribed. (手術後、痛みを感じるかもしれませんが、処方された痛み止めを服用してください。)
